Karen Webb - Partner
Karen was admitted as a Solicitor in 1997 having previously been qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives for nearly 10 years.
Karen has considerable experience in property related work including
-management of RTB sales
-shared ownership sales and purchases
-ESP’s
-purchase of stock for newly formed Housing Association client
-staircasing
-acquisition of land for development and related planning and -infrastructure
agreements
-management and supervision of high volume plot sales
-leasehold sales and purchases
-shared equity charges
Karen joined Coffin Mew LLP in 2001 and prior to this worked in house for a major house builder which specialised in low cost partnership housing. The majority of these schemes were complex leasehold schemes.
More recently Karen has been involved in advising a number of RSLs on the setting up of a variety of shared ownership and shared equity lease schemes and the supervision of the day to day sales thereof. This has also included the setting up of a leasehold scheme where the RSL was selling the properties on the open market.
Karen also has particular experience in security advice and has acted for both RSLs and a number of large lending institutions in perfecting title security and ensuring satisfaction of conditions precedent. She has recently advised a Bank providing finance to an RSL secured on 1600 properties.
