Our move to 1000 Lakeside - what it means to you...

You may well be aware that on December 12th Coffin Mew is moving from its long-established offices in Fareham and existing North Harbour, Portsmouth office to a new location at 1000 Lakeside, North Harbour Portsmouth.

Combining our current Fareham and Portsmouth offices is an exciting and bold step for the firm and means that you will have access to the full range of our private client and business services legal services from our specialist lawyers under one roof (see page 6 for location map).

The firm will continue to operate from its current offices in Southampton and Gosport.

Same excellent firm, great new location

“Our office in Southampton already provides a full range of services. The combination of Fareham and Portsmouth at 1000 Lakeside will deliver the same range of services. In addition our Gosport office will continue to provide direct access for our private clients who live in the locality.”

Well, we are doing everything to make sure that it is a positive benefit for you - and that you will actually gain from our firm being in a new location. This is particularly important for clients who use our range of private client services.

Parking at 1000 Lakeside is very much easier for clients and the whole environment should make visiting us a very much more relaxed affair in what is an exceptional location.

One of the key areas of change will be the accessibility to our services. We have identified a number of ways that we have been able to improve our current provision.

Wills and Deeds

For example, if your deeds or Wills are already with us, they will remain in our secure off-site storage facility and we will continue to hold them in safe keeping for you free of charge.

Rest assured that they can be readily obtained for you when required and we can arrange for you to pick up at any of our offices.

Plus, if we already hold your Will , we are also offering free registration of your Will with the Certainty National Wills Register. This means that it can be easily located through us by your family or next-of-kin, giving you extra peace of mind.

Flexible meeting times

And with all of our services we can also arrange flexible hours to see you, so it will not be a strict 9 to 5 working day, to enable you to meet us before or after work, or during your lunchtime.

Or, if you prefer, we can arrange a home visit should you have difficulty visiting our offices or are housebound.

Gosport and Southampton

And remember if our offices in  Gosport and Southampton are more convenient for you to visit, then we will happily meet you there.

1000 Lakeside is just one junction east from Fareham along the M27 and less than half a mile from our current North Harbour location. There is ample free parking and excellent meeting facilities - there is even a nature walk around the lake, which as a valued client you are welcome to use.
