Tina Day, Associate, F.I.L.E.X

Tina Day is an Associate Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives having joined Coffin Mew LLP in 1998. She began practicing family law in 1987 and is experienced in all aspects of divorce, separation and financial claims.
She specializes in financial claims on divorce or separation often dealing with cases with complex business assets, trusts and pensions and has advised on a number of farming cases which require niche knowledge and often a different approach as liquidity and diversity options often have to be considered.
Tina has extensive knowledge of the Armed Forces Pension Schemes and regularly advises service personnel serving at home and abroad. She is happy to work by e-mail and on the telephone minimising the need for one to one meetings when this suits her client.
Tina is a Resolution Accredited Specialist which is awarded to family lawyers who show a high degree of competency in family law and is also a trained Collaborative Family Lawyer and has been instrumental in developing this practice locally. She is currently the liaison officer for the Portsmouth and South Downs group of collaborative family lawyers. Tina has strong, established relationships with lawyers both locally and further afield and frequently works on the telephone and face to face with my opponents.
She regularly appears in both local county courts as well as the Principal Registry London and has strong links with specialist family barristers and other experts.
Tina is a Trustee of Relate Portsmouth and whole heartedly supports the idea of marriage and relationship counselling believing this work can help parties who have agreed to separate as well as those who are looking to reconcile their relationship.
