Philip Yetman, Partner, Commercial Property and Healthcare Team

Philip Yetman joined the Firm in 1974 and has been a partner since 1979.

During that time he has gained a wide experience of commercial property matters and now concentrates particularly on the Care and Leisure sectors, including all types of care business, besides hotels restaurants clubs pubs and all other types of licensed premises, golf and health and fitness facilities, and outdoor sports pitches.

Philip has worked in the Portsmouth area throughout his career, having been responsible for several of the Firm’s branch offices, and is now based at Lakeside.

He was a Naval reservist for thirty years during which time he served on the staff of the former Flag officer Portsmouth during the Falklands Campaign, was recalled for service in the Gulf for a short period in 2000, and was Commanding Officer of HMS King Alfred from 2001 to 2003. He was an Adjudication Officer during the mobilisation of Royal Naval and Royal Marines reservists in 2003 before retiring in the rank of Commander. More recently, he was Vice Chairman (Navy) to the South East Reserve Forces and Cadets Association, a statutory body with responsibility for employer support, estates, welfare, and recruiting issues for reserve forces.

Philip is also a member of the Bank of England Hampshire Core Panel and is a former President of the Portsmouth and South East Hampshire Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
