The Coffin Mew Solicitors’ Easter Bunny visits local charities!

Coffin Mew's Easter Bunny, Douglas Miller, delivered the donated eggs to the Rainbow Centre and Rose Road

The Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence team at south coast law firm Coffin Mew Solicitors organised a chocolate Easter egg donation drive to benefit children who are service users of The Rainbow Centre and Rose Road Appeal.

The Rainbow Centre is the Firm’s chosen charity for 2012 so the Easter egg drive is just one of many initiatives which have been organised to raise funds and support this important charity.

The Rainbow Centre inspires and supports children with Cerebral Palsy - as well as adults who have suffered a stroke, MS and Parkinson’s disease - and their families. Through a system of learning called Conductive Education, they encourage and teach participants to take an active role in their own self-development.

Rose Road is a charity the team has been working closely with over several months as a number of their clients have been, or are, service users.  The Rose Road Association has been working with children, young people and their families from across Hampshire and the surrounding counties since 1952. The children who attend Rose Road have multiple and complex health needs but the charity focuses on celebrating achievement and respecting choices of these young people with a range of disabilities.

The eggs were delivered by Coffin Mew’s own ‘Easter Bunny’, PI and Clinical Negligence Team Leader Douglas Miller, who said: “As a Firm we are delighted to help brighten up the children’s Easter by donating chocolate eggs.  Both charities provide invaluable services for children who have learning difficulties and disabilities so we are pleased to support such worthy causes.”
